Financial Controller

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client, based in Edinburgh

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
-Update, run and analyse numerous transfer pricing revenue and cost allocation models on a monthly basis
-Support the team with a substantial project to transition many manual processes onto an automated IT solution, including documentation, testing, development and controls
-Act as a primary contact point for queries from colleagues in the controllers group and the VAT and tax teams, respond to ad-hoc queries efficiently and effectively
-Prepare clear and comprehensive variance analysis for entities on a monthly basis
-Ensure compliance with key SOX controls
-Support the implementation of new models in transfer pricing
-Be able to provide comprehensive training and information to numerous stakeholders as required
-Support the TP policy team with reviews of existing models and analysis for new models
-Continually seek opportunities to streamline and enhance the business-as-usual deliverables

The ideal Candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Excellent excel skills are essential
-Relevant accounting qualification in progress or completed (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
-Exposure to a strong control environment and awareness of good financial controls is desirable
-Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase and/or Cognos BI would be advantageous but is not required
-Experience in financial services would be advantageous but is not required
