Finance Manager

A Finance Manager role for an AIM listed Natural Resources exploration business based in Central London


Our client are a fast growing, AIM listed Natural Resources with global operations at different life cycles. They have gone from strength to strength in the last year and as a result are looking to bring on board a Finance Manager to a main point of contact for global financial operations.

The profile of people in the organisation have been very high calibre with experience in the industry and the requirements of this role will be to add value from the word go with regards to process improvements and sophisticated commercial finance insight across the operational teams. You will be reporting into the CFO with direct contact with the Chairman on a day to day basis.

Your new role
Supervision of the monthly management accounting process
Responsibility for the delivery of year end statutory accounts
Identification and implementation of process improvement
Adherence to international listing requirements
Strong global commercial focus - working with budget holders from operational perspective
Ad hoc ongoing project work

What you'll need to succeed
Desire to work within the Oil & Gas sector
Qualified accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Capability to deliver year end statutory accounts
Strong communication to allow for senior stakeholder engagement
Ability to travel when required
