Assistant Financial Accountant

Macildowie Finance is proud to be recruiting for an exciting Assistant Financial Accounting position working for a rapidly growing Tech business based in Nottingham City Centre.

The line manager wants to take on an aspirational individual who wishes to get themselves qualified within the next 1-3 years and become a bigger and more influential figure within this growing medium sized business. Individuals from a practice background will be considered or individuals with recent relevant experience within a similar Junior Financial Accounting role.

Key Experience Required:

- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Cash tracking and treasury
- Posting and allocation of Cash
- Assistance with Month, Quarter and Year end process
- Assistance with production of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors
- Full ownership of small entities within group
- Process improvements and driving efficiency
- Foreign reporting
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as required

You will ideally have experience with Sage and have Intermediate to Excellent capability with Excel. You will be happy to embrace change as the business grows and happy to facilitate ways business growth effects accounting processes.
