Fixed Asset Accountant (1 year fixed term contract)

We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, driven part qualified accountant on a one year fixed term contract with an exciting and dynamic FTSE 250 company. This role is positioned within the Group Finance team and reports into the Group Finance Manager.

Responsibilities of the role:
-Management and Development of Fixed Asset Administrator and their development
-Periodic performing of Fixed Assets Month End Closes
-Executing business projects within FA module, ensuring accuracy, correctness of accounting and functionality
-Periodic preparation of Depreciation Note for MA Pack and reporting of Actuals vs Budget/Reforecast including understanding of differences
-Responsibility for Depreciation Budget and Reforecasts
-Support the Finance Department in ad hoc projects, process improvements, management reporting and other finance related projects driven by the growth of the business

What we are looking for:
-Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (Qualified by experience candidates with fixed assets experience will be considered)
-Strong academics (minimum 2.1 at degree level; High grades at A level)
-Experience of Fixed Assets within a previous role
-Experience with ERP systems (Preferably Oracle) and strong excel skills
-Effective communicator with both senior management and non-technical audiences
