The corporate finance executive plays an important role within the CF team and the wider office. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented part or recently qualified accountant to develop a career in CF, or for someone looking to make a move across from another CF team and wanting to take greater responsibility and have a higher degree of autonomy.
As part of a core team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the full deal cycle, from due diligence projects and report writing to potential buyer/funder research. Based on the day-to-day requirements of the job role, experience of mergers and acquisitions work is highly desirable.you will be involved in the following:
- Due diligence projects and report writing
- Company valuations
- M&A assignments, including:
- Information memorandum drafting
- Teaser document preparation
- Non-disclosure confidentiality agreements (NDAs)
- Potential buyer research
- Potential funder research
- Data room co-ordination and management
- Business planning
- Financial modelling
- Independent business reviews
- New business development research and marketing initiatives
My client is open to the background of the individual. Character, commercial awareness and communication is most important. However you have either:
- Experience of mergers and acquisitions work, either as a lead adviser or in a supporting role.
- Trained withinin a top10 firm and looking to make a move to CF at either part qualified or qualified level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential; and
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel
