Partner Designate and Partner

A superb opportunity has arisen for a new client facing future Partner Designate/ Partner to take over an existing portfolio of clients and assist in the building of the future client base of the practice.

My client are a forward thinking, entrepreneurially minded Chartered Accountancy Practice who through consistent growth are now looking to recruit a new client facing Partner or Partner Designate to share the existing client portfolio's and also look to continue winning new work for the firm.

Their success is built on developing strong relationships, with services tailored to the specific needs of their clients. My client has a diverse and loyal client base who operate in sectors such as media, technology, sports and retail.

Description

The role has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning and confirms the practices commitment to continual growth.

The role is to takeover a varied portfolio of clients, who are predominantly family owned SME businesses up to £40m turnover. A full spectrum of accountancy and advisory work will be delivered to the clients, including Accounts, Audit and Tax as well as assisting in mergers and acquisitions of businesses.

Profile

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• ACA/ ACCA qualified

• Circa 8 years post qualified experience

• A pragmatic approach and customer service focus

• Strong commercial acumen/ Exposure to mergers & acquisitions.

• Self-motivated and eager to succeed with ambitions to reach Director level

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build lifelong relationships with a wide variety of clients, and be proactive when networking and business developing.

• Up to date tax legislation knowledge, personal/ corporate
