Management Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are working closely with a Not for Profit organisation based in West London to recruit a Part Time Management Accountant. My client has recently gone through a refurbishment right across the organisation and this is a newly created role due to the continuous period of growth they are currently going through. This role gives you a great opportunity to lead on a project to help them improve the current budgeting process.

Reporting in to the Head of Finance, the duties of the Management Accountant are; Produce the management accounts on a monthly basis then liaise with 5 key budget holders to help provide formative finance information; run the month end process accordingly ensuring all the processes are followed correctly; accurately report financial information to help spot any variances between the budgets and forecasts; working in a small team of 3 you will be the point of contact for the finance team as and when required; oversee the duties of the Assistant Accountants and provide cover if needed; work closely with the Head of Finance to assist with year end and liaise with auditors.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years working in a finance team and it is essential to have both Management Accounting and Financial Reporting experience. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. You will be willing to get hands on to help the finance team from minor to major tasks.
