Fund Accountant

Global West-end based fund management organisation seek an oversight fund accountant manager whom will be tasked with fund accounting oversight, financial accounting oversight, tax oversight, and monitoring of outsourced functions. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced fund accountant whom is a highly analytical, meticulous and an ambitious team player looking to progress their career within a high-achieving organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily NAVs, and resolve daily
• Review of distributions, secure sign off
• Keep related control logs and files
• Sign off audit plans, monitor FS preparation and audit to ensure timely completion
• Review FS, secure sign off
• Liaise with the FA and the tax advisor
• Monitor that tax returns are filed and tax paid within the deadline
• Review tax return, secure sign off

As an ACCA qualified accountant or finalist, you must be highly adept at report writing so exposure to financial statements preparation is critical as is strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Additionally, you will possess demonstrable experience with daily NAV and distribution reviews. As well as asset management and investment firms, prospective candidates with fund accounting experience from a third-party administrator are encouraged to apply.
