ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

My client, a global pharmaceutical company with their EU Head office based in Holborn, is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temp-to-perm basis to start this week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a flourishing organisation with a highly competitive salary and long-term benefits. We are looking for an individual with a passion for payables who can own the ledger and be the go-to person for everything purchase ledger. This would suit an individual who has prior experience either in a sole role or within a Shared Service Centre where they are dealing with multi-currencies and high volumes.
The role will include:
- matching, batching and coding purchase invoices - high volumes in multi-currencies
- using SAP (by design) system
- running the payments runs
- calculating accruals and prepayments
- processing circa 500 transactions/month
- processing credit cards
- handling all AP queries
