International privately owned market leader based in South Yorkshire are looking for an Interim Group Financial Accountant, to join them for an initial period of six months. Reporting into the CFO, you will have a key role to play which will support the ongoing business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all group financial accounting activities for the business
- Responsible for Statutory reporting, foreign exchange management, balance sheet reporting and control framework
- Lead any finance process improvement projects, eg. around cashflow forecasting and VAT
- Input into technical accounting matters, eg. around new accounting standards and adjustments
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven technical ability in financial accounting, and experience of group consolidation
- Ability to self-manage and lead/deliver on finance projects
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
