Purpose
The role holder is part of a team responsible for:
- The accurate preparation of financial plans, forecasts and financial management information.
- Review of management, statutory and regulatory reports/accounts.
- Preparation of supporting analysis and related narrative for all entities, with a view to the identification of tactical and strategic opportunities.
Dimensions
Operating within the Regional team of the Finance Planning, Reporting and Analytics team through the provision of high quality plans, forecasts, reports and analysis to support decision making and monitor and develop performance.
- Detailed plans and forecasts
- Monthly management information and reports
- Statutory reports and accounts
- Detailed and forward thinking analysis of the current business performance and insight into future
Required experience
- Hold a professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous experience of working within the Insurance market is ESSENTIAL
- Strong technical accounting experience/knowledge - IFRS and GAAP
- Previous experience of Financial Planning and Analysis for an Insurance business
