Management Accountant

Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a leading SME Business Services Group based in Lancashire. Central to the region and accessible along the M6, this role would be of interested to both newly and recently Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Accountants and studying Part-Qualified Accountants. My client is a specialist provider of financial services and consultancy services to bespoke client base and due to the on-going growth of the business is looking to build out a fully functioning finance department. Part of this growth strategy sees the headcount in finance growing steadily through 2017 as the business looks to strengthen its Management Accounting capabilities. The business is a sub-£20m turnover SME and as such a flat hierarchy will aid and accelerate the progression of any studying or newly qualified members of the team. The business is keen to invest in it's people supporting from a study and CPD perspective. You will also benefit from working closely with a vastly experienced Finance Director and be given the opportunity to really influence a business. As the Management Accountant you will have responsibility for:

• Preparation of monthly management packs
• Production of management accounts, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Production of profit margin reports
• Monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting
• Production of KPI data and produce management information
• Monitor and analyse company spend and analyse costings
• Production of weekly and monthly reports for shareholders
• Ad-hoc requests as required by Senior Management Team

The successful candidate will be:

• CIMA or ACCA part-qualified/qualified
• Be able to commute between Lancaster and Preston
• Be experienced in the production of management accountants
• Possess strong analytical and Excel experience
• Have experience of using Sage systems
