Description
A full service, Top 10 accountancy practice, well known and very well positioned with a significant and strong client base. The business is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager to the team who is a corporate tax specialist. This is a new opportunity, a landmark position with regards to the tax offering and offers huge opportunity for the successful candidate. The tax team is strong and made up of a variety of professionals. The role will include a portfolio of corporate clients, reporting mainly to the Partner, and providing advice and assistance to the wider tax group. This is a client facing role and you will have a background of advising on a wide range of tax issues. To manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients including the review of compliance work completed by the team in addition to the completion of the more complex compliance work. Undertake detailed planning and implementation of corporate and personal tax. Ensuring the provision of an effective and cost driven service to clients in line with annual budgets. Together with partners, manage the interface between a group of clients and the firm to ensure that the agreed expectations of the clients in terms of service, quality and cost and also the firm's targets are met.
Profile
The profile of candidate for this Corporate Tax Manager position is dependent on the background of the individual. It will either suit a strong Tax Senior or Assistant Manager who is working in a corporate tax environment and looking to make their next step, or a Corporate Tax Manager looking for a new challenge in a top accountancy practice. They will be ATT or CTA qualified and working in a tax role.
