The Finance & Accounting division of SF Group is currently working on a retained assignment for a creative printing SME based in Northamptonshire. Our client is looking to appoint a Finance Director who can demonstrate excellent commercial awareness and critical thinking skills. The role will work closely alongside the Managing Director and existing management team.

As the Finance Director you will have full management responsibility of your team, steer the team through month and year end, annual budgeting, tax, debt and other complex acquisition procedures. You will provide leadership to the Board’s finance and accounting strategy, looking at how to optimise performance and challenge historic strategy practises. Be able to creatively present complex information in an interesting but clear way providing guidance on all activities, targets, key business drivers. You will be responsible for cash management policies and budgeting processes, ensure compliance regarding regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies. You will form a close working relationship with the Managing Director and other Senior Executives and establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and advisors. You will also be involved in the potential implementation of a new ERP system.

As the Finance Director you will be qualified either ACCA or CIMA, with previous experience within a manufacturing. You will need to prove consistent and exceptional achievement in exceeding target goals.

Salary up to £60,000, benefits include Pension and Healthcare on completion of probationary period, Childcare Voucher Scheme, Ride to Work Scheme.
