Finance Director

Blackwaters is recruiting for a Finance Director to join a high profile division of a FTSE group within the Consulting/Outsourcing space.

Managing the finance function, the finance director will directly support the managing director in developing and executing commercial strategy for this high profile government contract.

There is a real opportunity to make a mark here from a commercial perspective so change management experience would be ideal, in addition to technical reporting skills. Business partnering is key and the ability to act in a client facing capacity would be ideal. 

The right candidate will have exposure to the following:
* Experience within a complex contract services environment
* Portfolio contract management experience 
* Hands on management of a sizeable team (including transactions)
* Integration of acquisitions 
* Some exposure to working with public sector organisations would be ideal. 

This business offers almost great progressions opportunity and therefore would suit an ambitious and committed individual who is happy to undertake some UK wide travel as required. We're probably looking for a chartered accountant due to the technical nature of the role, but other backgrounds would be considered.
