Move into forensic accounting - boutique firm
A small and highly experienced boutique firm of forensic accountants are seeking a Newly Qualified accountant to join their multi-specialist team.
They will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds (audit/accounts/tax) with the most important factor being an enthusiasm to move into forensic accountancy. Full training will be provided and the role will develop around the individual depending on how fast they progress. For a driven individual, this in an exceptional opportunity to gain case ownership rapidly.
The main responsibilities of the role will include (but are not be limited to):
* Use investigative and technical accounting skills to manage and co-ordinate a diverse portfolio of assignments across a range of sectors
* Review/examine, analyse and verify evidence for use in court proceedings, mediations and for negotiating settlements between parties
* Prepare written briefings / reports / presentations on work performed for managers (for internal use) and clients (for external use) in a clear manner
* Handle complex and technical issues
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with other members of staff
* Participate in sales and marketing activities and campaigns
* Support Partner and other senior members of staff on ad-hoc assignments, as required
