My client is an SME based in Derbyshire that is looking for a financial controller. You will get involved in group reporting, management of a team of 7-8 people across two sites which will involve some travel but flexibility is allowed.
This role will be mainly to help produce the monthly management accounts. You will be getting involved in meetings with non finance departments including operations and logistics to help with budget preparation, future forecasts, KPIs and costs. The team will get involved in weekly flash reporting, sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, cash flow and other ad hoc reporting.
They are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) who has experience of managing teams, being within a group reporting environment which is ideal but not essential.
They are looking to pay £50k with benefits including car/car allowance, a great pension and holiday allowances.
