An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Business Partner, to join a varied and dynamic Management Team based in Lancashire. The role will report to the Site MD and Head of Operational Finance in a fast paced business in growth.

Your new role
Commercially and operationally aware the Commercial Finance Business Partner is a key member of the leadership team whose primary focus is to support the maximisation of trading performance. You shall take ownership of monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process and complete ad-hoc reports including analysis, bridging statements and monthly business commentaries. With an in depth knowledge of manufacturing you will use your experience to provide insight into the day to day operations of the business to shape the commercial strategy. You will be comfortable working within a matrix managed organisation reporting to both the site Managing Director and the Head of Commercial Finance whilst working closely with the SSC, whilst remaining the sole finance function on this site. You shall ensure compliance with group and statutory requirements and seek out opportunities to raise standards and deliver excellence in finance accounting practice working with the wider UK finance community. You shall provide expert financial advice and challenge the management team to support decision making that sustains delivery of the strategic and operational plan.

What you'll need to succeed
You shall be a qualified Accountant - ACA or ACCA or CIMA and strong within communicating financial results to non-financial personnel. With strong Business and Commercial acumen you will have a strong understanding of and experience of financial management and reporting. With a demonstrable track record for proactive decision-making you shall have negotiation and influencing abilities and a strength in a hands on, site accounting role or one similar.
