Financial Controller Role for SME in Stockport
Your new company
The company are family run and sit within the retail sector. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced financial controller to work on the senior management team and strategically partner with the director's.
Your new role
As the number one in finance, you will have full responsibility for the numbers. This includes the month-end process, management accounts, variance analysis, budgeting & forecasting, VAT and liaising with the auditors. You will however, have a small team to manage (PL & CC) who will help on the transactional front.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Experience in the retail sector is desirable, but not essential. You will also need strong communications skills and the ability to work the various internal stakeholders, including the managing director.
What you'll get in return
