Finance Director

SF Group are currently recruiting for a manufacturing business based in the West Midlands who are keen to bring on board an experienced Finance Director. This individual will have the latitude to develop and manage his/her direct reports and when required assist in these functions for indirect reports.

Duties are as follows:

• Plan, direct and/or coordinate all financial reporting and budgeting. Assist in the preparation of short-term and long-term operational goals
• Oversee the production of monthly management and IFRS statutory year end accounts
• Support for business planning process. Includes annual budget planning and monthly forecasting process
• Manage all aspects of financial related duties including AR, AP, Payroll administration, Importation commodity codes, VAT, etc.
• Perform operational and financial audit functions to identify and report risks, to safeguard inventory and company funds, to identify cost risks and to control costs, and to maintain assets and facilities

The ideal candidate will require:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Manufacturing experience
• Managerial experience required
• This individual must have strong verbal and written communications skills, leadership capabilities, and problem identification
