Accounts Manager
Full Time - maternity cover
A top 20 firm of chartered accountants and business advisers providing a full range of accounting and business advisory services to a diverse range of businesses and individuals across the UK and overseas. We operate from 17 regional offices based across the South of England
Business Services Group team. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the department from an organisational and staffing point of view as well manage your own client portfolio. Key responsibilities of the role include:-

• To ensure engagement documentation is up to date
• To attend client meetings, as required
• To monitor time costs on a regular basis
• To regularly review WIP and debtors
• To prepare client invoices, on a monthly basis
• To chase outstanding invoices
• To manage the departmental workload
• To prepare proposals for new work

Person Specification

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE) - essential
• Experience of working in practice - essential
• Experience of working with SAGE 50 Accounts - essential
• Experience of working with Xero - desirable
