Fund Accountant - Fintech

Cobalt is working with one of the most exciting and fastest growing Fintech organisations in Europe, who operate the most unique lending platform in the world.

With impressive growth over the last 3 years, and extensive backing from some of the leading investors in the world, this company is one of the biggest success stories of the Fintech industry, and has promising growth projections over the next 5 years, currently with 5 offices around the world.

This role is based in their modern London office in the heart of the city, and will be supporting the listed fund, within the growing fund accounting team, with investors in this fund are some of the most influential organisations in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Support of the operational processes for the fund with cash flow modelling
• Produce the factsheets on a monthly basis in order to assist with the statutory half yearly and annual financial statements
• Working with the third party administrators and a number of outsourced serviced providers including tax providers
• Working closely with a number of department heads and the European Capital Markets team
• Continuously look to improve the processes and systems to ensure efficiency within the role

Candidate Experience

• ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally from a Top 10 Accounting Firm
• Exposure to Asset Management, Capital Markets or Investment Trusts would be beneficial
• Proven ability to be interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ambitious individual looking to work in a forward thinking and fast moving environment
