Management Accountant
£55,000 - £60,000
Cobalt is recruiting a Management Accountant to join a creative and innovative team working on exceptional properties in UK. This residential developer advises on over £2bn worth of assets in London and Europe, working alongside specialist architects and other high profile industry experts.
The Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller on daily interaction with the wider team, as well as, maintain company accounts and production of monthly management reports. Other responsibilities include:
- Liaison with external auditors and internal stakeholders
- Preparation of statutory accounts and submission quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with monthly and quarterly board reporting, as well as, budgeting and monitoring of company and project costs
- Update profit and cash flow forecasts
- Implementation of accounting processes and controls
The successful candidate will be:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Exposure to relevant property and construction financial accounting
- Experience in computation of property related tax
- Excellent written communication skills, ability to work quickly and accurately in order to meet deadlines
