A fast growing Top 20 Accounting firm is urgently looking for someone to fill a Manager level role that will be 100% advisory and consulting focused. They're keen to speak to candidates who have some advisory experience but are looking to move away from compliance and into a more commercial role. Key responsibilities:
- Tax advice and planning in relation to international transactions
- Restructuring and corporate tax planning for a mixture of corporate and private clients
- Liaising with colleagues in other UK/European/Global offices on key clients and projects
- Supervision of junior staff members and managing certain compliance tasks
- Interacting with partners and fellow staff in a technical capacity
- Involvement in client pitches and business development
Your background:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience or equivalent.
- Experience in a professional services firm - we'd also definitely consider people who have moved into industry but are seeking to move back into a client facing role.
- Experience of international tax structuring for corporates as well as individuals
- Experience in dealing with offshore trust regimes, including those relating to non- domiciled persons.
- Commercially minded and able to build up relationships with an array of internal and external stakeholders and clients.
Salary on offer is very open and can be tweaked according to the person hired with the ability to bring someone into the team at either Manager or Senior Manager level.
