A highly successful Challenger Bank is looking to recruit a Financial Planning Manager. This high growth business feature in The Times Top 100 Companies to Work For and have undergone significant expansion in recent years. This role will involve working on operational and strategic plans and the financial models that underpin these plans that help determine the future direction of the business. You will be required to provide financial forecasts and projections for all areas of the business including income, costs, capital expenditure, balance sheet and FTE in existing forecasting models, though with a particular emphasis on the funding requirements of the business. You will also play a key part in addressing new forecasting requirements through the use of advanced forecasting techniques.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience of working in a banking environment. You will possess the ability to manage conflicting priorities, have an up to date knowledge of relevant accounting policies and regulatory framework. You will have excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues at all levels within the organisation, dealing with confidential issues in a professional manner with tact, diplomacy and resilience.
