Commercial Finance Manager
Stoke on Trent. West Midlands
Competitive Salary
The Commercial Manager will support one of the FM business units in the provision of quality financial information and commercial support in order to accurately reflect contract performance and support commercial decision making to drive contract performance.
Overview of Responsibilities:-
Responsible for the preparation of all necessary financial information for the relevant contract(s).
Provision of financial guidance and support to operational management colleagues.
Evaluation of current financial controls and identification of improvements.
Ensuring standardised procedures are followed to deliver consistency of accounting.
Ongoing establishment of finance as a valued and integral part of the operating business.
Applications are invited from experienced finance professionals who have previous experience in a commercial financial role within complex, national and matrix style organisations.
The successful applicants will be qualified / part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) and have a comprehensive understanding of management accounting and business-partnering in a project/contract accounting environment or similar.
Applicants with a QS background and/or qualification in addition to significant commercial finance experience will also be suitable.
In addition to these requirements the successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills.
