Finance Consolidation Controller

A blue chip Marketing business is looking for a talented Interim Finance Consolidation Controller to manage and oversee the group's financial close, consolidation and statutory obligations.

The role offers the opportunity to work for an exciting business, with an excellent culture and work closely with director-level stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of accountants to deliver an efficient group close process.
• Take ownership of the GL, including its setup within the ERP and regularly review the set up.
• Oversight of financial accounting responsibilities.
• Oversight of statutory accounting requirements, including the IFRS consolidation.
• Ownership of the Fixed Assets and Intercompany responsibilities.

Personal and Professional Competencies:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of group consolidation across a high number of entities in IFRS.
• Experience working for a complex, blue chip, multinational organisation.
• Experience of intercompany accounting.
• Experience of working in a role focussed on consolidations previously.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Sociable, engaging individual with a passion for leading and inspiring others.
