The company is a financial brokerage firm working in London providing an international client base access to multiple exchanges worldwide.  It also provides foreign exchange services for professional clients.

TREASURY PURPOSE:
The Function of the Treasury Department is to provide liquidity risk, interest rate risk and FX risk management. 
Treasury strategies will be executed as outlined in department policies and procedures to meet both the strategic objectives of the business as well as delivering cost efficiency and automation.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Treasury Manager leads the Treasury team and acts to align the team’s goals with the strategic direction of the business. 
Responsible for the line management, organisation and personal development of a successful department ensuring people in the team understand the control framework  and how their work relates to the Group goals.

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage the short term liquidity, interest and FX risk management processes, supporting the core. transaction flows for the group in accordance with adopted policies and procedures.
•    Manage intra-day foreign exchange risk as it relates to treasury policies and procedures.
•    Projection and management of liquidity funding requirements and usage to maximise asset efficiencies across the function and interest rate return.
•    Responsible for currency management.
•    Manage daily treasury transactions.
•    Production of ad-hoc as well as routine reporting and analysis for key stakeholders across the. business including information needed to meet regulatory requirements.
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key banks.
•    Line management of the Treasury team ensuring the completion of regular performance appraisals to identify and provide appropriate training and guidance to ensure individual and departmental progression.
•    Develop and monitor Treasury operational policies and procedures.


Person Specification

Qualifications
•    A graduate degree or equivalent an advantage.
•    ACT qualification (Certificate in Treasury or higher) or its equivalent.

Technical Skills and Experience
•    Multi-currency cash position management including payment and receipt oversight.
•    Multi-currency liquidity management through asset/liability deployment, currency swaps and other instruments.
•    Multi-currency interest management.
•    Internal currency risk management.
•    Understanding of Client Money/ CASS rules.
•    Bank relationship management and negotiation of associated fees.
•    Strong exposure and understanding of current and future regulatory change and their impact on the liquidity and risk management function.
•    Extensive data analysis skills.

Work Experience
•    Solid exposure and proven skills working within a corporate treasury function with experience in FX risk management, liquidity funding, and foreign exchange.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets, futures, foreign exchange instruments, and related liquidity management.
