Divisional Accounting Team Lead

Excellent opportunity to join a PLC in Leicestershire as Divisional Accounting Team Lead on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

The successful Divisional Accounting Team Lead will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and have managed a large team previously.  There is an excellent retention bonus for the successful applicant on completion of the 2 year contract, and the possibility of a permanent role thereafter.

As Divisional Accounting Team Lead, the main responsibilities will be to manage a large team (up to 12 - Qualified, QBE & PQ) in managing and finalising the month/ quarter/ year-end management accounts and standard reporting.

• Manage and provide accurate, timely and relevant information to business units
• Manage and produce forecasts and budgets, financial planning
• Continuous improvement and standardisation in the Management Accounts department
• Operational stakeholder management
• Reviewing KPI's
• Fixed Assets, Capex, Business partnering, Analytical support, Inventory reporting, Contract support

The successful Divisional Accounting Team Lead will have a large company background, and be competent working to tight deadlines, and enjoy managing a diverse team.

As this is a Fixed Term Contract (2 years), so we can wait for a notice period of up to 3 months if necessary for the right candidate.
