This is a senior position taking a lead role towards the preparation and review of:
*Consolidation of Group financial results (including all departments, subsidiaries and associates)
*Preparing analysis and explaining actual corporate financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc basis
*Support key corporate goals and objectives through the preparation of consolidated group accounts
*Support on ad hoc corporate or departmental initiatives/projects

*Support the Technical Accounting Manager by performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers where appropriate on emerging technical accounting issues
*Work within and promote the internal control environment - implement control mechanisms, monitor, review and continuously improve
Strong technical accounting knowledge is essential. We are looking for qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc). Prior experience within a construction, property development and/or a rail company is desirable, but not essential.
