Finance Analyst
Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, our client is a well-known, national business with many sites across the UK who are experiencing a high amount of growth and development. They are currently looking for an ACCA/ CIMA Part Qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis as a Finance Analyst.
This job would suit someone who has excellent all-round accounting experience with exposure to both financial and management accounts who is looking to join a large corporate company with lots of room for progression. You will assist & support the Manager and be heavily focused on business partnering with heads of departments daily. The candidate will work collaboratively with the relevant business teams on varied activities.
This company is an instantly recognisable business with over a hundred sites across the UK. They are experiencing a high growth period currently and are looking for individuals that will progress and develop with them.
The successful individual will have 2-4 years' experience within a financial or management accounts role and strong communication skills with both internal and external, finance and non-finance personnel at all levels. You will also have excellent Excel skills along with strong analytical and influencing skills. The candidate will be a confident, hands-on individual with good attention to detail, ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work as a team. A study package is on offer for individuals to progress with their ACCA or CIMA.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for Group Business Services cost centres
- Preparation of monthly reports and analysis
- Preparation and participation in account reviews with the shared service Directors
- Supporting / business partnering shared service Directors and their direct reports
- Preparation and analysis of VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Allocation and analysis of consolidated invoices
- Various journals - prepayments, accruals
- Ad hoc tasks
