Internal Auditor - Financial Services - West Midlands - up to £45,000

Your new company
This Internal Auditor job is with an established financial services company, based in the West Midlands, who offer a range of financial products to retail customers. The Internal Audit department are held in high regard, and you will gain excellent exposure to executive-level stakeholders.

Your new role
You will be responsible completing audit engagements and ad-hoc projects as directed by the Internal Audit Manager. You will be involved at all stages of audit engagements, from planning through to report writing and delivering findings and recommendations to management. As this role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders, you will be given opportunities to move off in to other roles in the wider business, and the Internal Audit department have a strong track record of this happening.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant or hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA). You will ideally have direct financial services experience or from practice, but this is not essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
