Finance Manager

Partner Financial is working with a fast-growing Media Group based in Central London. Operating throughout the world and with an international presence, the business is a vibrant, growing organisation with a unique array of business and service lines.

The business is currently going through a period of change as a result of growth and ambitious plans for the next 3 - 5 years. They are now looking for a Management Accountant to support the business through this period, working across the function and getting involved with core tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary for the Board and Senior Management, offering insight into on-going financial performance;
• Assisting with head office budget and reforecasts as well as supporting a new start-up project;
• Responsibility for ensuring a smooth year-end process;
• Working in conjunction with other team members on various projects and initiatives whilst the business develops;
• Assisting the Group controller with group annual budgets and regular forecasts;
• Supporting the Group team with process improvement and output quality;

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant trained in practice with some industry experience;
• Strong stakeholder management skills;
• Exceptional management accounting skills,;
• Comfortable in relating complex financial strategies to non-financial stakeholders;
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team but also understanding the impact on the wider finance team and group structure;
• Excellent IT literacy, especially MS Excel;
• Highly organised, with a strong track record of meeting frequent, tight deadlines.
