Management Accountant

Based in Central Norwich, Norfolk, our client is a well established business with ambitious growth plans for the future.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will encompass the following responsibilities:

• Oversee and preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts for properties/companies under management and reporting to clients.
• Managing the year end audit and statutory reporting process for properties/companies under management.
• Oversee the development and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Reviewing the internal financial control processes and suggest improvements where appropriate. Assistance with systems development.
• Cash-flow reporting and monitoring
• Responsible for taxation issues for the business
• Assistance with other ad-hoc projects e.g. business plans, financial modeling, presentations to banks etc.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications and areas of experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Commercially astute, self confident with the ability to work unsupervised
• Strong financial accounting skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong and demonstrable team leadership and people management skills
• Ability to achieve results and meet tight deadlines
• Strong IT skills, with excellent knowledge/skills of working with SAGE and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
