I am recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful manufacturing/engineering business based in Cheshire. The company has enjoyed excellent growth in the last 2 years and is expecting this to continue over the next 12-18 months. As one of three Management Accountants reporting to the Finance Director, you will play an integral part in supporting anticipated growth through analysis and project work.
Duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Detailed financial analysis and commentary
- Reporting
- P&L and balance sheets
- Periodic VAT returns
- Support transactional departments where required including AP, AR and credit control teams to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Assist in production of forecasts and budgets
- Assisting with year-end and interim audits being a key point of contact on a daily basis
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIMA, ACCA or similar accounting qualification
- Project experience
- Strong analysis experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
