Head of Purchase to Pay EMEA

Wade Macdonald are currently recruiting for a Head of Purchase to Pay for a Global Business in Bracknell.

The Purchase to Pay Manager will be responsible for the management of the Purchase to Pay process in EMEA and is responsible for directing the operational functions of the department, including invoice processing, travel and expense report audit and processing, financial disbursement, and exception resolution

The Purchase to Pay Manager EMEA will be ultimately responsible for managing the P2P team, who are responsible for:
*Managing and monitoring activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, expense reports and other related company expenses
*Preparing and/or review applicable accounting reports and accounts payable registers to ensure accuracy and timely processing
*Working with the Treasury team to insure the timing of payments and the taking of cash discounts are in line with corporate cash management
*Ensuring the P2P team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
*Maintaining excellent working relationship with external suppliers and respond to queries where possible
*Managing monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements

Essential criteria
*Must have strong P2P experience, preferably in a Shared Services environment
*Experience of managing a team of 15 - 30 Accounts Payable staff
*Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
*Excellent client and customer service skills
*Good analytical skills and sound judgement
*Ability to perform effectively under pressure and with professionalism, meeting deadlines in a timely manner
*Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
*Previous experience in delivering services to the business
*Track record of managing complex business relationships across a global matrix organisation

Experience in working:
*Across multiple countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa
*With / in large multi-national organisations
*Ability to drive and manage changes within the organisation
*Championed and lead continuous improvement initiatives in P2P

Desirable
*Fluency in European languages
*Leading and managing the transition of countries into a Shared Services Operation
*Possess professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA)
*Previous exposure to a culturally diverse working environment
