Purchase Ledger Controller

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller for a large, well established Sheffield based organisation. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

This is a temporary role and does require an immediate start.

Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:

Checking invoices against delivery notes, GRN's and PO's

Ensuring all invoices are coded correctly prior to inputting

Opening new supplier accounts

Ensuring all invoices are authorised for payment Processing payment runs via BAC's and cheques on a monthly basis

Processing ad hoc payments as required

Dealing with queries

Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve issues

Reconciling supplier statements

Processing employee expenses on a monthly basis

Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Previous experience is essential

You must be computer literate with good Excel skills

Good communication skills are required
