Finance Director

Our client is a growing international technology business who are looking for a driven and ambitious Finance Director to lead a small finance & operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and will take a proactive role in propelling the business towards an eventual exit. Duties will entail;

• Production of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports and analysis to senior management
• Oversee all daily, weekly and monthly transactional requirements
• Leading and developing a finance and back office team
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis
• Supporting and challenging budget owners to meet targets and deliver budgets
• Attend management meetings and present meaningful financial analysis and guidance / assistance where relevant to senior management
• Controlling / maximising working capital
• Manage investor relations
• Close contact with financial institutions

About you:

• Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA, ideally with at least 5 years' post qualified experience,
• A motivated finance professional with a passion for people management
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Works well under pressure in fast paced environment
• Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills
• Sound in IT systems and process driven

The successful candidate will be either a financial controller looking for their first role as a Finance Director or an existing FD looking for a new challenge. You must have the drive and determination to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
