Financial Controller

Macildowie Finance are recruiting for a well known Hotel chain in the Castle Donington area for the position of Financial Controller. Easily commutable from Derby, Leicester and Nottingham my client are looking for a tenured and detail focused individual looking for a move into a senior and commercial position.

Hotel or Hospitality background is preferred. Studying, qualified and non-qualified individuals will be considered. The position is paying £28-32k.

Duties Include:
- Support with monthly and yearly budget and forecasting
- Implementation of internal controls
- Process improvements
- Production and analysis of Management Information
- Support on cost reduction activities
- Support with sales ledger
- Revenue Recognition
- Analysis of variances
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

The business are looking for a solid 'safe pair of hands' and a proactive individual to support the business in smooth running and continuous development. Reporting directly into the Hotel Manager you will have a steer on operation through financial influence and recommendation.
