A brilliant opportunity has arisen with a global business services company for a finance manager 10 month fixed term contract in Liverpool. As a finance manager you will report directly to the financial controller and provide financial management and control for a number of business centres. This is not a narrow role and involves extensive business partnering and working with wider teams and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide and interpret financial information to assess the performance of the business against plans and forecasts
- To develop and apply financial management mechanisms
- To manage the financial accounting, control, monitoring and reporting systems of the business
- To work with the directorate and management to develop strategies and long term business plans for growth
- Business partnering
- To support the wider teams to meet budgets and forecasts
- To lead monthly processes, monitor credit control, report on investments

Key Experience:
- Business planing, forecasting and bid modelling
- Strong negotiation skills
- Leadership in commercial discussions
- Good Microsoft skills
- Good communication and written skills
For this finance manager role within business services you must be qualified and be happy to use your own imitative when needed. You must be willing to travel to other sites on an ad hoc basis. This won't be everyday but will be necessary for every couple of months.
