Howarth Morris are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a highly regarded, rapidly expanding business based in impressive offices in Warrington. Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be the No.1 in finance supervising a team of 2. The core remit of this role will be to ensure the financial position of the group is reported both accurately and timely to the senior m0anagement team and the Board. Responsibilities will include:
Applicants will be actively studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA with experience in a similar role. Strong people skills are essential as are broad up to date technical finance skills and a desire to deliver best practice and continuous improvement. - Variance analysis with commentary
- Budgeting and forecasting
- KPI production
- Wages Journal
- Maintain Cashbook
- Balance Sheet Control
- Bank Reconciliation
- Oversee Sales/Purchase Ledger month end routines
- Monitoring VAT compliance
- Point of contact for audit
- Ensuring that the business performance is correctly measured and accurately reported
- Look to implement new ideas and processes that will improve efficiency and drive profit
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders within the Ops team and share best practice
