* Providing IFRS support to acquisition accounting of acquired businesses
* IFRS guidance for production of statutory accounts and where relevant to shareholders
* Supporting the CFO in reporting to the investors: monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting, annual statutory accounts, adhoc reporting
* Assisting with tax matters across the group
* Liaising with group auditors
* Ensuring the year end accounting and audit process is delivered
* Timely completion of the financial aspects of the RMARs (FCA reporting) for the group
* Constantly reviewing and improving the group's systems and internal controls as the organisation grows
* Deputising for the CFO as and when required
The successful candidate will require the following:
* ACA qualification
* Strong technical skills gained in practice, ideally with a Big 4/Top 10 accounting firm
* Proven track record in the financial services sector (either within practice or industry)
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the gravitas to deputise for the CFO and deal with investors
This will provide a high calibre finance professional with an exceptional opportunity to play a key part in the predicted growth, direction and subsequent success of an already market leading business.
