Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller required for an initial 3 month contract working for an international media company in Central London. As Financial Controller you will be overseeing a team of 9 with 3 direct reports and will have responsibility for the preparation and provision of actual reporting for EMEA. The role will involve:

• Ensuring all revenues and costs are accounted for consistently and accurately
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual profit and loss and balance sheet reporting processes
• Ensure all reporting is accurate and in line with company policies, best practices and US/local GAAP
• Maintain effective internal control environment ensuring controls are documented and consistent with SOX policy
• Oversee reporting of balance sheet activity
• Liaise with outsourced partners in the preparation of EMEA subsidiaries local statutory and tax accounts across 6 countries
• Provide actual USGAAP management results for EMEA
• Liaise with external auditors

This role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA) who has previously worked as Financial Controller or Head of Finance within an international media organisation. This must be recent experience. Experience of using Peoplesoft is required as is strong USGAAP and SOX experience.
