Role summary: 

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to play an integral role in a high performing FP&A team. Working closely with the Senior FP&A Manager, you will liaise with a range of stakeholders including senior members of the finance team. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with process improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

Financial Planning activities: 

  • The preparation of planning and forecasting models, ensuring they are fit for purpose and that planning assumptions are consistently used across all Business Units and Functions.
  • Working with the Business Unit and Function finance teams on all planning activities ensuring that their plans are accurate and delivered on time.
  • You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of each business units business model, the countries that they operate in and the solutions that they offer.
  • Calculation and analysis of annual labour cost recovery rates.
  • The modelling of plan Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Ensuring that the Financial/Operational Plan is accurately reflected across all financial systems.
  • The preparation of materials for internal and external planning reviews.

    Financial Control activities:

  • Ensure that financial controls within your area of responsibility are robust.
  • Support the audit process through preparation of required documentation and analysis as required.

    Other:

  • Support financial systems projects as required, such as Cognos, HFM and SAP.

    What we’re looking for:

    Essential:

  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel modelling skills
  • A delivery focus and track record of meeting deadlines
  • The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders

    Desirable:

  • Systems experience in Cognos
  • Technical accounting skills
  • A desire to improve processes and procedures
  • Experience in consolidated Group Reporting
  • Relevant industry experience would be beneficial
