Senior Management Accountant

A highly regarded Business Services company, based in Liverpool City Centre, are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join on a 6-9 month contract. This role has been created as a senior accountant has been seconded on to some high priority project work and they need an experience candidate to cover the role in their absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior level contractor, with in depth experience of management reporting to join a highly prestigious organisation enjoying consistent growth.

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Responsibility for month end processes & reporting, forecast and budget processes including ad hoc analysis, and remuneration reporting.
• Production of monthly management accounts, to a high quality in accordance with a strict timetable
• Provide the management accounting requirements of the division including commentaries associated MI
• Production of annual budget & forecasts
• Assisting in the development of financial controls for the company
• Working across various departments liaising with both financial and non-financial staff
• Further ad-hoc projects when required

Ideally you will have/be:

• CIMA/ACCA Fully Qualified – 1^st time passes beneficial
• Significant experience having sole responsibility of Management Reporting
• Previous experience working with large ERP systems – ideally SUN or SAP
• Experience working within Financial Services beneficial
• Able to start immediately
