Financial Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to work in a London based FP&A team for an International retail client. This role will be covering revenue reporting to support the financial planning, analysis manager. The role will be ensuring the reporting is timely, accurate and relevant.

Candidate requirements:

• Advanced level excel
• Strong commercial Finance Analysis exposure
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA (although candidates that are not studying or qualified but with suitable experience will still be considered)

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Maintain scenario analysis and strategic financial projections including monthly forecasts and annual budget within macro spreadsheets
• Support the FP&A Manager to drive the improvement in the quality revenue reporting
• Drive improvements and efficiencies in reporting
• Provide support to Sales & Marketing teams
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports
• Advanced Level experience with excel (most of the spreadsheets are macro driven)
• Support the management accountants to complete the month end reporting
• Volume/revenue estimates for flash reports, preparation of monthly sales and revenue journals, revenue reports to stakeholders and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue
• Analytical support to management with revenue and margin reporting to use in strategic decision making
• Support the Finance team with ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
• Support to the Operations team in the setting of targets and reporting of results for incentive schemes
• Support in driving Retail activities
• Ensure Cash Office reconciliations are accurately recorded
• Daily cash to revenue reconciliation
• To build and develop the revenue and cash reports
• Prepare the monthly reconciliation of management accounts to revenue reported in Weekly Statistics
• Liaise with the Commercial Analyst in developing an effective Retail reporting
• To ensure the integrity of the Sales data
