Maternity cover -Management Accountant
My client is a SME business based in Southampton which operates in the property sector. They are seeking a confident Management Accountant who can work as part of a close knit team to join them for a period of 14 months to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities will be varied to cover a number of group companies and will include:
Monthly management accounts
Nominal reconciliations
WIP preparation
VAT returns
S/L support
Recharge account
Control accounts
Job cost adjustment journals
Audit support
CIS returns training cost schedules
Car lease schedule management Journals and adjustments
Payroll
The candidate:
Will have worked in a SME environment, have prepared management accounts, understand double entry bookkeeping, all the ledgers, journals and ideally have experience of payroll. Candidates need to have confidence in their own ability, be able to deal with a range of personalities and be able to work as part of a close knit team, be very hands on and have a sense of humour!
