My Exeter based client is looking to appoint an experienced Systems Accountant - Finance. This will be covering a Maternity Leave and will be a 12 month contract to commence March 2017. You will report to the Head of Finance & Projects managing all the financial aspects of the company and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all finance system related projects
- Manage the migration of finance related data to the new administration system
- Manage a team of finance professionals
- Oversee the accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts
- Oversee the accurate and timely production of the year end statutory accounts
- Oversee the productions of the quarterly and annual regulatory returns
- Effective financial control
- Effective accounting process
- Oversee completion of all indirect tax returns
- Adherence to Group's core values and behaviours
In order to be successful you will have a proven track record in systems implementation/data migration. Ideally you will be a CCAB qualified accountant although candidates that are QBE will certainly be considered. Please forward your details ASAP.
