International high-end fashion retail business is recruiting a Management Accountant based at their Central London Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, looking to work for a great brand!
Reporting into the Financial Controller your main responsibilities would include business partnering and support, including commercial analysis and advice to senior management; preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; monthly management accounts; preparation of monthly P&L commentary, both Management and Board level, including variance analysis; management and production of relevant KPIs; balance sheet reconciliations as allocated; calculation and compilation of VAT returns; assist with statutory reporting and the audit process; ad-hoc project work (c.20-30% of role).
You will be a newly qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent). Ideally, you would have also worked in a retail environment.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £50K plus benefits including bonus, healthcare, pension etc.
