Finance Analyst

Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Finance Analyst on behalf of a blue chip organisation based in York.

This is a high profile, commercial, business facing role aimed at driving business performance. You will be a key support to the business providing high quality business analysis and reporting financial performance and key trends for the organisation.

You will be responsible for the automation of current process and controls and support the department developing financial models. Other duties will include monthly overhead reports, budgeting and forecasting and support to senior stakeholders. This will be a varied and fast paced job role which will require you to manage a busy workload and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.

My client feels this position would best suit someone who is part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and has a strong grounding in analytics. You must be an advanced Excel user who has advanced Modelling skills. Ideally you will have had exposure to applying these skills within a corporate environment although open to considering candidates who can demonstrate the appropriate experience if it is gained within a different industry.

Key Responsibilities:

*Leading the commercial forecast and budget process with the Sector Leads, leading to the final review with the regional Senior Leadership team
*Producing all the margin forecasting and budgeting
*Producing daily/monthly commercial reports
*Identifying internal control weaknesses and non-compliance with the Group's Financial Control Policies, developing improvements where necessary
*Co-ordinating, preparing and consolidating weekly cash-flow forecasts
*Developing and preparing financial reports, sensitivity analysis and simulation exercises for management in order to allow them to understand and monitor financial performance

Elevation Senior Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
